Text
(1)The lien for harvesting specified in section 38-24.5-102 shall not be prior to nor have precedence over any mortgage,
encumbrance, security interest, or other valid lien upon the grain or other crops if
such other mortgage, encumbrance, security interest, or valid lien attached or was
filed prior to the filing of a lien under this article.
(2)A person seeking to perfect a lien under this article shall comply with
article 9.5 of title 4, C.R.S., and section 1324 of the federal Food Security Act of
1985, in order to perfect a lien under this article.
