§ 37-43-124 — Sale of water rights and property

Colorado·Title 37 Water and·Art. Irrigation Districts of 1905 and 1921
The board of directors of any irrigation district may sell or dispose of any part or all of the irrigation works, franchises, water rights, or other property of the district when authorized so to do by the vote of a two-thirds majority of the legally qualified electors of the district, in the manner and upon the conditions provided in section 37-43-125, and the authority so vested in the board of directors shall be and remain effective until such sale is fully consummated, unless previously revoked by the vote of a majority of the qualified electors of the district or such sale fails by act of the purchaser.
