Text
The vote shall be
canvassed by the board of directors at its first regular meeting after such election,
and, if a majority of landowners voting at such special election vote for an increase
in the membership of directors of the said district from three to five, at their next
regular meeting following such election, the board of directors shall appoint two
electors within the said district to serve as directors-at-large to represent and act
for the entire district and to serve until the next regular election for directors in the
district.
