§ 37-41-108 — Directors - secretary - salaries

Colorado·Title 37 Water and·Art. Irrigation District Law of 1905

Each member of the board of
directors may receive compensation at the rate of up to one hundred fifty dollars
per day while attending meetings and shall be reimbursed for their actual and
necessary expenses while engaged in official business. A director or officer named
in this article 41 shall not be interested, directly or indirectly, in any manner, in any
contract awarded or to be awarded by the board or in the profits to be derived from
the contract, nor shall they receive any bonds, gratuity, or bribe. For any violation of
this section, such officer commits a class 6 felony and shall be punished as
provided in section 18-1.3-401. He or she shall also forfeit their office upon
conviction.
