Text
Within seven days after
said election, the board shall meet at the office of the drainage district for the
purpose of canvassing the vote cast at said election, and shall issue a certificate of
election to the candidate receiving the highest number of votes for said office, and
shall file a statement of the result of said election in the clerk and recorder's office
of Mesa county, Colorado. The director certified to be elected shall take an oath or
affirmation in accordance with section 24-12-101.
