Text
Whenever a majority of the owners of
land within a drainage district representing also a majority of the whole number of
acres of land within the district petitions the board of directors to call a special
election for the purpose of submitting to the qualified electors of said drainage
district a proposition to dissolve such district, it is the duty of such board of
directors, upon proof that all claims and bills of the district of every kind or nature
whatsoever have been fully paid, to call an election for the purpose of submitting
the question of the dissolution of such district to the qualified voters thereof and to
cause a notice setting forth the object of such election to be posted in the office of
the district and in six public places within such district and to be publis
