§ 37-21-110 — Powers of board
The board of directors is authorized to take
conveyances or assurances in the name of the drainage district for all property
acquired by it and to institute and maintain any actions, proceedings, and suits
necessary or proper in order fully to carry out the provisions of articles 20 to 30 of
this title or to enforce, maintain, protect, or preserve any rights, privileges, and
immunities created or acquired in pursuance thereof.
