Text
The board may recognize certification by another
state if such certification requirements are substantially similar to the certification
requirements of this article. The holder of certification recognized as equivalent
may be employed in coal mines of this state for a period to be determined by the
board upon presentation of an equivalent certification from another state. The
board, following review of such equivalent certification, may certify the applicant
for the same position.
