§ 28-3-611 — Employer's noncompliance - actions
Any employer violating any
of the provisions of this part 6 is guilty of a misdemeanor and, upon conviction
thereof, shall be punished by a fine of not more than five thousand dollars. In
addition, the employee may bring an action at law for damages and reasonable
attorney fees for such noncompliance or apply to the district court for such
equitable relief and reasonable attorney fees as are just and proper under the
circumstances.
