Text
(1)On or before
January 1, 2023, each managed service organization designated pursuant to section
27-80-107 shall evaluate the current supply and necessary demand within its
region for:
(a)The number of medication-assisted treatment providers employed by the
managed service organization that are trained to provide medication-assisted
treatment to a person who has consumed synthetic opiates;
(b)Ambulatory withdrawal management and medical withdrawal
management specific to synthetic opiates;
(c)The provision of recovery services at public high schools; and
(d)The provision of recovery residences, as defined in section 27-80-129.
(2)In its hearing for the 2024 legislative session, the department shall
