§ 27-80-102 — Duties of the behavioral health administration

Text

(1)The behavioral health administration is a type 2 entity, as defined in section 24-1-105, and is responsible for the powers, duties, and functions relating to the alcohol and drug driving safety program specified in section 42-4-1301.3. The behavioral health administration shall formulate a comprehensive state plan for substance use disorder treatment programs. The behavioral health administration shall submit the state plan to the governor and, upon the governor's approval, submit it to the appropriate United States agency for review and approval. The state plan must include, but not be limited to:
(a)A survey of the need for the prevention and treatment of alcohol and drug abuse, including a survey of the health facilities needed to provide services and a plan for the deve
