§ 27-80-101 — Definitions

As used in this article 80, unless the context otherwise requires:

(1)Behavioral health administration or BHA means the behavioral health administration established in section 27-50-102.
(2)Commissioner means the commissioner of the behavioral health administration. (2.3) Department means the department of human services created in section 26-1-105. (2.6) Designated service area means the geographical substate planning area specified by the commissioner to be served by a behavioral health administrative services organization, as described in section 27-80-107.
(3)Repealed.
(4)Fetal alcohol spectrum disorder or FASD means a continuum of permanent birth defects caused by maternal consumption of alcohol during pregnancy. FASD includes, but is not limited to, fetal alcohol sy
