§ 26-6-917 — Acceptance of federal grants
The department is authorized to
accept, on behalf of the state, any grants of federal funds made available for any
purposes consistent with the provisions of this part 9. The executive director of the
department, with the approval of the governor, has the power to direct the
disposition of any grants so accepted in conformity with the terms and conditions
under which they are given.
