§ 26-2-131 — Public assistance not assignable
No assistance payments made
to an eligible recipient under this article shall be transferable or assignable at law
or in equity, and none of the money paid or payable under this article shall be
subject to execution, levy, attachment, garnishment, or other legal process or to the
operation of any bankruptcy or insolvency law.
