Text
(1)The commission shall elect an
executive committee from its membership, including a chair, a vice-chair, and such
other officers as it deems necessary. The vice-chair shall act as chair in the absence
of or at the direction of the chair. The commission shall meet in person or virtually
on call of the chair but not less than once a month. A majority of the members of the
commission constitutes a quorum for the transaction of business. The executive
committee is responsible for coordinating with the state office on aging established
in section 26-11-202, relevant state agencies, and members of the general
assembly.
(2)(a) The commission may establish standing subcommittees to support the
implementation of the strategic action plan on aging, developed pursuant to
section 24-32-
