Text
(1)There is hereby created in the state treasury the
Colorado brain injury trust fund. The trust fund consists of any money collected
from surcharges assessed pursuant to sections 30-15-402 (3), 42-4-1307 (10)(c),
and 42-4-1701 (4)(e); gifts, grants, or donations; and any other money that the
general assembly may appropriate or transfer to the trust fund. Subject to annual
appropriation by the general assembly, the board may expend money in the trust
fund for the direct and indirect costs associated with the implementation of this
part 3.
(2)The board may seek, accept, and expend gifts, grants, or donations, from
private or public sources for purposes of this part 3. The board shall transmit all
money received through gifts, grants, or donations to the state treasurer, who shal
