As used in this part 2, unless the context otherwise requires:
(1)Board means the Colorado child abuse prevention board created in
section 26.5-3-204.
(2)Child means a person under eighteen years of age.
(3)Child abuse has the meaning as provided for the term abuse in section
19-1-103 (1).
(4)Prevention program means a program of direct child abuse prevention
services for a child, parent, or guardian and includes research or education
programs related to the prevention of child abuse. Such a prevention program may
be classified as a primary prevention program when it is available to the community
on a voluntary basis and as a secondary prevention program when it is directed
toward groups of individuals who have been identified as high risk.
