(1)Under the direction of the director of the division of youth services, the juvenile parole officer or officers in each region established in section 19-2.5-1202 (3) shall supervise all juveniles living in the region who, having been committed to the department of human services, are on parole from one of its facilities.
(2)(a) The juvenile parole officer shall give to each juvenile granted parole a written statement of the conditions of the juvenile's parole, explain such conditions fully, and aid the juvenile to observe them. The juvenile parole officer shall have periodic meetings with the juvenile. The juvenile parole officer may conduct investigations or other activities as necessary to determine whether the conditions of parole are being met and to accomplish the juveni
