(1)The
deans and the heads of the departments of anatomy and surgery of the accredited
medical and dental schools of this state are constituted a board for the distribution
and delivery of unclaimed dead human bodies, described in this part 3, to and
among such institutions that, under the provisions of this part 3, are entitled to
distribution. The board has full power to establish rules for its government, and to
appoint and remove officers, and shall keep full and complete minutes of its
transactions. Records shall also be kept, under its direction, of all bodies received
and distributed by the board, and of the institutions to which the same may be
