Text
(a)Except as otherwise
provided in subsection (b) of this section, a person that knowingly acquires,
receives, or otherwise transfers a part for valuable consideration for
transplantation may be liable as specified in 42 U.S.C. sec. 274e.
(b)A person may charge a reasonable amount for the removal, processing,
preservation, quality control, storage, transportation, implantation, or disposal of a
part.
