§ 4-13-301 — Saving clause
Colorado·Title 04 Uniform·Art. Transitional Provisions for Uniform Commercial Code Amendments (2022)
(a)Except as provided in this part 3, article 9, as
amended by Senate Bill 23-090, enacted in 2023, and article 12 of this title 4, as
enacted by Senate Bill 23-090, enacted in 2023, apply to a transaction, lien, or
other interest in property, even if the transaction, lien, or interest was entered into,
created, or acquired before the effective date of this article 13.
(b)Except as provided in subsection (c) of this section and sections 4-13-302
to 4-13-306:
(1)A transaction, lien, or interest in property that was validly entered into,
created, or transferred before the effective date of this article 13 and that was not
governed by this title 4, but would be subject to article 9 of this title 4, as amended
by Senate Bill 23-090, enacted in 2023, or article 12 of this title 4,
