§ 2-3-1501 — Legislative declaration
The general assembly hereby finds and
determines that in the event of an emergency epidemic or disaster in the state, the
general assembly must be prepared to respond to the emergency epidemic or
disaster and have a plan for ensuring the continuation of its operations in order to
assist in the protection of the health, safety, and welfare of the public.
