(1)For purposes of this
section:
(a)Demographic note means a note that uses available data to outline the
potential effects of a legislative measure on disparities within the state, including a
statement of whether the measure is likely to increase or decrease disparities to
the extent the data is available.
(b)Disparities means the difference in economic, employment, health,
education, or public safety outcomes between the state population as a whole and
subgroups of the population defined by socioeconomic status, race, ethnicity, sex,
gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, geography, or any other relevant
characteristic for which data are available.
