California·Code WIC Welfare and Institutions Code - WIC·Div. 8. DIVISION 8. MISCELLANEOUS·Ch. 6. CHAPTER 6. Office of Special Services, Health and Welfare Agency
The Office of Special Services may enter into agreements and contracts with any person, agency, corporation or other legal entity and take such other action as is necessary to carry out the purposes of this chapter. The office may require state departments to contract with it for services to carry out the provisions of this chapter.
