Text
(a)The term “individual with a disability” means any individual who:
(1)Has a physical or mental impairment which constitutes or results in a substantial impediment to employment.
(2)Can benefit in terms of an employment outcome from vocational rehabilitation services provided pursuant to this chapter.
(b)The term “individual with a
significant
disability” shall have the same meaning as specified in the federal Rehabilitation Act of 1973, as amended, and includes, but is not limited to, any individual who has a disability or is blind as determined pursuant to Subchapter 2 (commencing with Section 401) and Subchapter XVI (commencing with Section 1381) of Chapter 7 of Title 42 of the United States Code.
