Text

Notwithstanding any other provision of law, the Malaga County Water District may:

(a)Organize, promote, conduct, and advertise programs of community recreation.
(b)Establish systems of recreation and recreation centers, including parks and parkways.
(c)Acquire, construct, improve, maintain and operate recreation centers within the district. The district shall not incur a bonded indebtedness for the purposes authorized by this section exceeding 1 percent of the assessed value of all the taxable property in the district, and no bonded indebtedness shall be incurred except for capital outlay purposes.
