Text

The establishment of a disability benefit period for unemployment compensation disability benefits shall not establish a benefit year for unemployment compensation benefits and the filing of a valid claim for one shall not establish a valid claim for the other. Wages used to establish a valid claim for disability benefits may be used to establish a subsequent claim for disability benefits or unemployment compensation benefits provided such wages were paid in the base period applicable to the subsequent claim.
