California·Code PRC Public Resources Code - PRC·Div. 43. DIVISION 43. THE SAFE DRINKING WATER, WATER QUALITY AND SUPPLY, FLOOD CONTROL, RIVER AND COASTAL PROTECTION BOND ACT OF 2006·Ch. 7. CHAPTER 7. Protection of Beaches, Bays and Coastal Waters

The sum of five hundred forty million dollars ($540,000,000) shall be available for the protection of beaches, bays and coastal waters and watersheds, including projects to prevent contamination and degradation of coastal waters and watersheds, projects to protect and restore the natural habitat values of coastal waters and lands, and projects and expenditures to promote access to and enjoyment of the coastal resources of the state, in accordance with the following schedule:

(a)The sum of ninety million dollars ($90,000,000) shall be available to the state board for the purpose of matching grants for protecting beaches and coastal waters from pollution and toxic contamination pursuant to the Clean Beaches Program, Chapter 3 (commencing with Section 30915) of Division 20.4.
