§ 75009. — 75009. (Added November 7, 2006, by initiative Proposition 84.)

The proceeds of bonds issued and sold pursuant to this division shall be deposited in the Safe Drinking Water, Water Quality and Supply, Flood Control, River and Coastal Protection Fund of 2006, which is hereby created. Except as specifically provided in this division the money shall be available for appropriation by the Legislature, in the manner and for the purposes set forth in this division in accordance with the following schedule:
(a)
The sum of one billion five hundred twenty five million dollars ($1,525,000,000) for safe drinking water, water quality and other water projects in accordance with the provisions of Chapter 2.
(b)
The sum of eight hundred million dollars ($800,000,000) for flood control projects in accordance with the provisions of Chapter 3.
(c)
The sum of sixty five million dollars ($65,000,000) for statewide water management in accordance with the provisions of Chapter 4.
(d)
The sum of nine hundred twenty eight million dollars ($928,000,000) for the protection of rivers, lakes and streams in accordance with the provisions of Chapter 5.
(e)
The sum of four hundred fifty million dollars ($450,000,000) for forest and wildlife conservation in accordance with the provisions of Chapter 6.
(f)
The sum of five hundred forty million dollars ($540,000,000) for the protection of beaches, bays, and coastal waters and watersheds in accordance with the provisions of Chapter 7.
(g)
The sum of five hundred million dollars ($500,000,000) for state parks and nature education facilities in accordance with Chapter 8.
(h)
The sum of five hundred eighty million dollars ($580,000,000) for sustainable communities and climate change reduction projects in accordance with Chapter 9.
