§ 49018. — 49018. (Added by Stats. 1989, Ch. 1095, Sec. 22.)

The board of supervisors is the governing body of the district and may do any or all of the following:
(a)
Make and enforce all rules and regulations necessary for the administration and government of the district, and for the collection and disposal of garbage and other refuse matter in the district.
(b)
Appoint agents and employees for the district sufficient to maintain and operate the property acquired for the purposes of the district.
(c)
Acquire in the name of the county, by gift, purchase, condemnation, or otherwise, and own, control, manage, and dispose of, any interest in real or personal property necessary or convenient for the collection and disposal of the garbage or other refuse matter of the district.
(d)
Perform all of the acts necessary or proper to accomplish the purposes of this chapter.
