Each voting member of the governing board designated in paragraphs (1), (2), (3), and (4) of subdivision (a) of Section 33503 shall receive compensation in an amount set by the governing board, not to exceed seventy-five dollars ($75) for each day, or portion thereof, and not to exceed four hundred fifty dollars ($450) annually, while attending meetings of the governing board, or, upon authorization by the governing board, while on official business of the conservancy, and to receive the actual and necessary expenses incurred in performing those official duties, if that member does not receive compensation on a full-time basis from another source for discharging the responsibilities of any of the offices designated in paragraphs (1), (2), (3), and (4) of subdivision (a) of Section 33503.
