Text
(a)Any person who willfully violates any provision of this article or any rule, regulation or order of the supervisor, shall be subject to a penalty of one thousand dollars ($1,000) for each act of violation and for each day that the violation continues.
(b)The penalty provided in this section shall be recoverable by suit filed by the Attorney General in the name and on behalf of the supervisor in the superior court of the State of California for the county in which the defendant resides, or in which any defendant resides, if there is more than one defendant, or in the superior court of any county in which the violation occurred.
