(a)
(1)Upon conviction of, or adjudication for, any offense that renders a person subject to Section 29800, 29805, 29815, 29820, or 29825, the person shall relinquish all firearms they own, possess, or have under their custody or control in the manner provided in this section within 48 hours of the conviction or adjudication if the person remains out of custody or within 14 days of the conviction or adjudication if the person is in custody.
(2)The court shall, upon conviction or adjudication of a person for an offense described in subdivision (a), instruct the person that they are prohibited from owning, purchasing, receiving, possessing, or having under their custody or control, any firearms, ammunition, and ammunition feeding devices, including, but not limited to, magazines, and
