Recordkeeping, Background Checks, and Fees Relating to Sale, Lease, or Transfer of Firearms·Art. 1. ARTICLE 1. General Provisions Relating to the Register or the Record of Electronic or Telephonic Transfer
(a)The State Printer upon issuing a register shall forward to the Department of Justice both of the following:
(1)The name and business address of the dealer.
(2)The series and sheet numbers of the register.
(b)The register shall not be transferable.
(c)If the dealer moves the business to a different location, the dealer shall notify the department of that fact in writing within 48 hours.
