(a)
A person, corporation, or dealer shall not acquire within this state or bring into this state a firearm for the purpose of selling, loaning, or transferring the firearm, if the person, corporation, or dealer has either of the following:
(1)
In the case of a dealer, intent to violate Section 27510 or 27540.
(2)
In any other case, intent to avoid either of the following:
(A)
The provisions of Section 27545.
(B)
The requirements of any exemption to the provisions of Section 27545.
(b)
The provisions of this section are cumulative and shall not be construed as restricting the application of any other law. However, an act or omission punishable in different ways by different provisions of this code shall not be punished under more than one provision.
