Text

The purpose of each county task force may be as follows:

(a)To promote a countywide policy on violent crimes against women.
(b)To make recommendations on how to reduce violent crime.
(c)To prepare and place counties in a strong position to compete for federal and state funds that may become available for the purposes of this title.
(d)To facilitate coordination of services and responses between governmental agencies and between governmental agencies and nonprofit agencies serving women who are victims of violent crimes.
(e)To initiate local domestic violence prevention planning and priorities for the use of federal and state domestic violence prevention grants.
