(a)
The board of supervisors shall adopt plans, specifications, strain sheets, and working details for the work.
(b)
The Board of Supervisors of the County of Los Angeles may delegate the duties described in subdivision (a) to the director of public works in the following manner:
(1)
For projects in excess of the dollar limit specified in Section 20145, the board of supervisors may delegate duties described in subdivision (a) on a project-by-project basis.
(2)
For projects at or below the dollar limit specified in Section 20145, the
board of supervisors may delegate the duties described in subdivision (a) pursuant to that section.
(c)
This section shall remain in effect only until January 1, 2030, and as of that date is repealed.
