The Military Department Workers’ Compensation Fund is hereby created within the State Treasury. Notwithstanding Section 13340 of the Government Code, all moneys in the fund are continuously appropriated to the Military Department for purposes of subdivision (a).
(a)
The moneys in the fund shall be expended for workers’ compensation claims that are wholly or partially reimbursed by the federal government for personnel within the Military Department.
(b)
The fund may receive and deposit any moneys received from the federal government for the sole purpose of paying workers’ compensation claims of current employees or service members.
(c)
Moneys
in the fund may only be expended by the Military Department for workers’ compensation claims.
