(a)
A licensee who has applied to renew a license under this chapter shall be entitled to continue operating under the existing license for 60 days after its specified expiration date, or until notified by the department that the renewal application is deficient, whichever comes first, if the applicant has satisfied all license renewal requirements, including, but not limited to, the following:
(1)
The submission of the applicable renewal application and fee on or before the expiration date of the license.
(2)
The satisfaction of all required continuing education or training requirements.
(b)
This section shall not apply to any license that is suspended or revoked.
