In verification of the matters set forth in Section 1060 of this code, the Department of Finance shall, at least every two years or more often if requested by the commissioner, examine the commissioner’s books and accounts relating to all proceedings under this article, and shall file a report of each examination with the court in which the respective proceeding is pending and shall furnish the commissioner a certified copy of
each report.
