Text

For the effective discharge of such duties, an underwriter’s corps may enter any burning building or any building in which property is burning, or any building such corps or any officer thereof deems to be immediately exposed to an existing fire or in danger of taking fire from a burning building, and may remove or otherwise protect any property from fire or damage by water during and immediately after such fire.
