(a)Except for provisional licenses issued pursuant to Section 1416.40, each license issued pursuant to this chapter shall expire 24 months from the date of issuance.
(b)To renew an unexpired license the licensee shall, at least 30 days prior to the expiration of the license, submit an application for renewal on a form provided by the program, accompanied by the renewal fee. An applicant may request either an active license or an inactive license. If an applicant requests
an active license, he or she shall submit proof of completion of the required hours of program-approved continuing education.
(c)A delinquency fee is payable for license renewals not received by the program one day after the license expires.
