Text

Food containers manufactured from second-hand tin plate and intended for the packing of hermetically sealed canned food products intended to be used for human consumption shall not be so used unless the tin plate from which they are manufactured has, prior to their manufacture, been cleansed and sterilized by thorough immersion in boiling water, and then dried on hot rolls or by the use of heated air. The board may inspect any place where the containers are manufactured for the purpose of enforcing this section.
