Text

The basic and per capita allotments shall be paid quarterly to the administrative body of each qualifying local health department. Each quarterly payment may be adjusted on a basis of the actual expenditures during the previous quarter, if the adjustment is necessary to maintain the minimum proportional relationship of state and local expenditures as outlined in Section 101255. The department shall certify the amounts to be paid to each local health department each quarter to the Controller, who shall thereupon draw the necessary warrants, and the State Treasurer shall pay to the administrative body of each local health department the certified amount.
