The Director of General Services is authorized and directed to immediately proceed with the acquisition and development, including landscaping, of the site designated in Section 8170 and with the major construction and improvements for the Governor’s Mansion and the equipping and furnishing thereof, to the extent that moneys are specifically made available for such purposes by the Legislature.
