§ 66520. — 66520. (Added by Stats. 1970, Ch. 891.)

California·Code GOV Government Code - GOV·Title 7.1. TITLE 7.1. METROPOLITAN TRANSPORTATION COMMISSION
Any application to the federal or state government for any grant of money, whether an outright or a matching grant, by any county, city and county, city, or transportation district within the region shall, if it contains a transportation element, first be submitted to the commission for review as to its compatibility with the regional transportation plan. The commission shall approve and forward only those applications that are compatible with the plan. Review by the commission, however, is not required where revenues derived from the Motor Vehicle Fuel License Tax Law are subvented to local governmental entities in accordance with statutory provisions.
