(a)Not less than 25 percent of all taxes that are allocated to the authority from any participating entity pursuant to Section 62005 shall be deposited into a separate Low and Moderate Income Housing Fund pursuant to Section 62101 and used by the authority for the purposes of increasing, improving, and preserving the community’s supply of low- and moderate-income housing available at affordable housing cost, as defined by the following sections of the Health and Safety Code: Section 50052.5, to persons and families of low or moderate income, as defined in Section 50093, lower income households, as defined by Section 50079.5, very low income households, as defined in Section 50105, and extremely low income households, as defined by Section 50106, that is occupied by these persons a
