Text

From time to time during the course of study upon a proposed plan of reorganization, the commission may do any of the following:
(a)
Extend the time for completion and submission of the report and recommendation of a reorganization committee.
(b)
Change the scope of the study by the addition or deletion of territory or subject districts, except that the authority granted to a commission under this subdivision shall not apply to a change of organization or reorganization as described in subdivision (a) of Section 56853.
(c)
Authorize the committee to develop, study, report, and make recommendations upon alternative plans of reorganization.
