Text

A member shall not be retired for disability or receive any benefit from the fund unless certificates of his disability are filed with the board. The certificates shall be subscribed and sworn to by the member, the physician of the local agency if there is one, and two regularly licensed physicians practicing in the local agency. The board may require other evidence of disability before ordering the retirement and pension.
