Text

The mayor shall sign:

(a)All warrants drawn on the city treasurer.
(b)All written contracts and conveyances made or entered into by the city.
(c)All instruments requiring the city seal. The legislative body may provide by ordinance that the instruments described in (a), (b) and (c) be signed by an officer other than the mayor.
